Today I learned that it’s ok to be a bigot racist anti American crazy person, as long as you’ve served in the military. The comments on the actual Digg page just put me over the top.

Theres crap like that filling the top ten everyday. I would stop reading it, but I have an uncontrollable urge to spy on the enemy. Which invariably givs me an even stronger urge to kill small animals. I almost have enough for a patchwork blankie

For those of you who don’t know about his murderous past, google “ Chappaquiddick “ you’ll find plenty of info. To sum up the incident, good ol Ted ‘vehicular homicide’ Kennedy crashed his car into a lake and left his passenger to die. While his pregnant wife and kids were at home, Ted was co-hosting a party, drinking the night away. He then left with a young woman in his car and ended up off the side of a short bridge, upside down in the water. He managed to get himself out, and instead of calling for help, he fled to find his lawyers. No one contacted the police. The wreck was discovered the next morning, with the dead body of Mary Jo Kopechne clinging to the back seat, where she was holding her head above water in a small air pocket. It’s believed she was alive there for almost two hours before finally suffocating. Ted was covering his ass for nine hours before the scene was discovered, adamantly insisting on telling the police that Mary Jo was driving, though his lawyers convinced him otherwise. This was no childhood indiscretion, it all happened WHILE he was a US Senator from Massachusetts.

Is he really so loved ONLY because he’s a Kennedy? What’s with the love affair with that family? Statistically they have more fuck ups than heroes. Being from the cold snowy northeast I have the pleasure (read: agony) of seeing all those ‘Joe for oil’ ads from Joe Kennedy. He plays the hero by, literally, turning a wrench on a big offshore oil rig for evil dictator Hugo Chavez. Cheap oil deals for us while the Venezuelan President creates propaganda videos touting his power over the weak American people. Granted, Joe never killed anyone. He did however paralyze his brothers girlfriend when he crashed his jeep, driving recklessly. I wont mention the unfortunate accident he had while playing with fireworks with his son…

As if that’s not enough, have you heard of Rosemary Kennedy? She was the inspiration for the start of the Special Olympics. Heres a quote to sum it up;

“ Likely dyslexic and considered to be slightly brain-damaged from birth, Rose Marie Kennedy (her christening name) was rendered incapable of intelligible speech or caring for herself at the age of 23 by a lobotomy, requested by her father, Joe Sr., that was intended to cure her increasing mood swings and make her more manageable. He should be proud. His bullshit movie about a bullshit cause was just what he needed to execute a virtual dragon kick to the frail face of his 97 year old fellow nominee. Irena Sendlerowa was nominated for risking her life to save about 2,500 children from Nazi death camps during world war 2. She protected them from Hitler’s army by providing them with forged ID and hid them away in monasteries, different institutions and sometimes with host families.

Stupid Jew kids. Polar bears are starving and you expect your lives to be more important than that?!! OK, so the whole ‘ice caps are melting and polar bears are dying’ thing is highly disputed, but so what? You’re alive, right? That old bat that saved you all probably can’t even remember her own name anymore. But Al Gore needs to feed his ego and show off his face lift, he deserves it way more than anyone else.

As a side note, past Nobel peace prize nominees include Stalin, Castro and Hitler. Seems totally legit to me….now where are my energy saver light bulbs and water heater cozy? I’ve got a planet to save!!!!!
